Thanks, MTF.
Very interesting that there has been zero coverage of this very attractive watch till now. As far as I know, it didn't show up on Chopard's own coverage of BaselWorld, nor is it on their website.

An aside:
I have a theory that the marketing departments of the brands are worried about getting lost in the morass of hype and press releases during the two big fairs, so they are staggering their releases - as VC has done with the two-tone and 37mm-no-diamonds versions of the Overseas (and with the blue QdI), which were actually introduced earlier but received scant coverage until suddenly, boom, my guess is an embargo expired some time later. It's a practice which I understand but the more I see of this kind of thing, and the more flowery prose I read on supposedly-independent blogs that has been lifted wholesale from PR handouts, the more cynical I become.
For example: Is a micro-rotor "ingenious" to the PuristSPro audience? Chopard has been doing it since the 1.96 twenty years ago, the movement here is a variant of the same, and it's not as if we've never seen a Patek 240, Piaget 12P etc.

Back to the matter at hand:
That said, this is a handsome item. 40mm - I'd rather 38 or 39 but will have to see how it wears on the wrist, and how the lugs angle down - the XP line tends to fit quite nicely after all, much better than the sportier LUC watches with their flatter lugs which seem to be made for....manlier men than I (oh, Time Traveller One, how saddened I was when I tried you on!). And I do like the casually-elegant style. Cool strap, nice blued numerals and hands, interesting mix of brushed and polished finishes on the case, nice movement architecture.
As mentioned by another poster it will be interesting to see how nicely the movement is finished.
How about an easily-interchangeable dark blue rubber strap for this one?
When will they arrive in shops and what is the "affordable entry into haute horlogerie for the young gentleman" price point? I'm not very young and whether I'm a gentleman is doubtful, but I will have to take a look!
Best
E.
