Until I read that the bracelet is filed to get that texture...
I thought it might be made of meteorite. Knowing next to nothing about meteorite I'm wondering if it is possible to craft a bracelet from it. What would the challenges be? Cost? Machinability? Difficulty in obtaining sufficient quantities? Or maybe someone has already made one?

I really want to like Bulgari but they have had my Finissimo GMT for 9 months...
And still don't know when it will be fixed and shipped back to me. This is a one year old watch where the chrono second hand doesn't reset to zero. I think I am one and done with them.

Yes, cost would be high. As meteorites are fairly expensive.
The material is theoretically workable to become a bracelet. Depending on the composition of the meteorite. The meteorites have the ductile properties of both stone and metal, so machinability is doable. There may be parts of the material that is brittle,...

Yes I can see if the characteristics are inconsistent then it wouldn't be ideal for repetitive work. Good point. But they did a pretty good job of creating a texture similar to meteorite I think...even if that wasn't the objective!

The objective was to make something rock-like. Meteorite is basically a rock/metal from outer space. So I'd say you're very close!
