TO be entirely objective, the hand engraving isn't exactly the type that requires the highest level of skill as say high-relief engraving on a curved surface In other words, a less-experienced engraver would be able to do the work. Although, it still takes a lot of time to do! And especially at this price point (USA price is $19,900 USD without tax) it represents a bargain!

I really want to like Bulgari but they have had my Finissimo GMT for 9 months...
And still don't know when it will be fixed and shipped back to me. This is a one year old watch where the chrono second hand doesn't reset to zero. I think I am one and done with them.

Yes, cost would be high. As meteorites are fairly expensive.

Yes I can see if the characteristics are inconsistent then it wouldn't be ideal for repetitive work. Good point. But they did a pretty good job of creating a texture similar to meteorite I think...even if that wasn't the objective!

The objective was to make something rock-like. Meteorite is basically a rock/metal from outer space. So I'd say you're very close!
