Aaah, my friend, they had civilian hands because at the exception of the 5 US Navy Protos I know, the others were not proto and came with a civilian dial and hands, and the AS 1700 instead of the AS 1361.

Ah, yes. I imagine that to make a post like this one is not an easy task and something which can take years to research. Well worth the waiting and very generous of you to share here.

And I don't have all my answers, too...

I feel that in the history of this wonderful watch several questions will remain unanswered but you are making a great job with the big quantities of questions collectors make you finally resolved with your research.

All together, we'll solve some mysteries.
