It was my mom's originally. She bought it for its beauty and I was determined to not like it -- slow off the line, not quick around corners with all that sheet metal. Something just didn't seem right with the handling and driving characteristics of this car. Of course, I was coming from a BMW 535is. Then mom got a new car and I owned the thing for a while, using it as a daily driver. The brakes would fade and it was a little ponderous. But with each passing month, I loved it more and more. Why? That car is so beautiful, comfortable, luxurious, and elegant. It's not fast but the engine is strong and low end torque is good. The steering is light and easy -- a finger tip is all that's needed. A living room on wheels -- the nicest living room one can imagine.
