I have had this new CODE 11.59 Starwheel a few weeks. I was extremely enthusiastic about the release and hoped it would mark my entrance into the CODE 11.59 collection. It has, and it is so spectacular in person, it might also mark my exit. Short of the U...  

This is a wonderful piece and a worthy follow up after their original star wheel. Love new case and lugs..

If you plopped the exact dial and mechanism into a steel Royal Oak or Offshore, I would not excite me as much.

I only met the exit from the CODE collection. At least at this point, I would not buy another after the Starwheel, unless I hit the lotto and could order a Universelle. I would not wear any other model over this one. It is incredibly exciting.

I love to see how taken you are by this awesome Code. And of course you’re right, this piece spoils you for all other Codes available. Even compared to Universelle, this one has qualities that can’t be matched, IMHO. Very happy for you, and thanks for the...

I appreciate how AP has kept this complication alive and evolving over 30+ years, while remaining a pretty niche design.

And regardless of which version(s) people prefer, I am happy that the new one is very different than the old one.

And it does not disappoint at all.

The Blackwing in ways no watch could ever do.

On a race track, a ballistic machine. That is where it really separates itself. An AWD BMW M5 Competition will smoke it to 60MPH, but on a track with curves, forget it. Cadillac's superior handling dynamics take over. And the 659 FT LBs probably help too ... 

I personally wouldn't track a car like this or an M5 nor my AMG since I don't think any of these engines are dry sump and I fear risking some damage in the engine. But what a machine!

You should see the way the cars are beat on at Spring Mountain by novice - myself included - drivers. They are built to withstand the abuse. But the handling is just amazing.

Congrats on this special Code. I gave up on AP now, having went thru their screening process, met at boutique and nothing, and it’s ok, I can spend my money elsewhere.

Truth is only a few have been distributed in the US. I was hoping another member could share it and I very well might have kept mine private for some time. The allocations are the same for other brands too. I'll never bother with a VC or FPJ, as I have ne... 

As I mentioned above, I feel the case is in perfect harmony with this design.

It is really awesome, and the photos don't capture the magnificence of the piece. The play of light between the surfaces and finishes is really something to behold.

AP really executed this piece superbly. Congratulations on a special watch.

I lovely weight and feel on the wrist. For me, as it is my first CODE piece, there is much to admire with the case, strap, and buckle. Incredible ergonomics by AP.

Next to the Starwheel, I find this version most tempting. The case and dial make it.

I have loved the case since it launched. But now I feel we have a fully congruent timepiece in the collection. The case just seems made for atypical complications.

I thought it was the best execution and looked fantastic. I would be thrilled to add that variant one day.

Very close second to the Starwheel is the QP Aventurine though I have not seen it in person.

Got to play with it at AP and I really have to say it’s even better in real. I hope I get a call for this one soon.

The Aventurine is lively with sparkles as you roll the wrist. The play of light off of the mechanism is just fantastic. There is a lot of depth to the piece that no photos - mine or others I have seen - are able to capture.

That was the silver dial rubberclad. I have opened my share of boxes since, but seeing the Starwheel for the very first time was incredible.
