FHB didn't come from a traditional watch company - and look at the transformation of AP now being more valuable than Patek! Neither did Richard Mille, and both companies have been a big part of the transformation and modernization of watchmaking and even the point of sale.
Yes, there is always a place for legacy and family and watchmakers, but I think there is also a place for new perspectives. I think it will be interesting to see how the new CEO will elevate the experience to a proper multi sensory / surround sound luxury experience.
Maybe AP will finally improve the packaging, and upgrade from standard green boxes too!!
Anyway excited to hear her share her vision and plan for the future! With these family run companies, I get a sense a path has already been meaningfully set.

Regarding her background, in Europe are fragrance and flavour somehow connected in the perfume industry? Perhaps the flavour R&D involves lip gloss/balm. Or is flavour another product/service line outside of perfumery? Truly intriguing background.
