Right now in my collection the biggest watch is a Jaquet Droz 39mm with almost 50mm lug to lug. Somehow I don’t find it too big despite the slight lug over hang!
I think the 1815 Chronograph shall wear quite similar to this.

Not a big fan of Roger Dubuis. As case sizes is something significant for you, why not the following:

Yes, it is a little too large. The solution, however, is easy.
Get a bigger wrist. Do some simple hand-strength exercises every day.
It is a bit big, IMO...but hard to say no to this one.
If it's comfortable, then still consider whether its size might work for you (e.g., too big for a dress watch, but it may work as a more casual watch). The 1815 black dial chrono is a great piece. Cheers, John
