I didn't know them came in 39mm's. I've owned 2 JD's previously both were 43 mm like the ones pictured below. If it means anything, they both wore much larger on me than than 1815 Chrono. With that being said I wish I still had the rose gold JD as I kind of miss that one! Tony

Yes, it is a little too large. The solution, however, is easy.
Get a bigger wrist. Do some simple hand-strength exercises every day.
It is a bit big, IMO...but hard to say no to this one.
If it's comfortable, then still consider whether its size might work for you (e.g., too big for a dress watch, but it may work as a more casual watch). The 1815 black dial chrono is a great piece. Cheers, John
