Walter Lange was mit only the Membrane of the Lange family Who drove the resurrection of the brand. He was also the one who saw it being killed by some stray bombs at the end of WW II (indeed an attack against retreating German soldiers, not target at Gla... 

Mr Walter Lange has pushed both watchmaking as a whole, forcing many, many established players to advance their production qualities, as well as the economic development of an entire region, with tremendous positive effect. He was a man of elegance, style...  

I truly enjoyed reading that book and learning about the man, not just the company. He will be missed.
