Lange 2016 novelties shared in Singapore

TGIF! It's Friday!! Lange Singapore kindly invited some of us Lange collectors to try on their novelties launched in SIHH 2016. These includes the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon, the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds, the Saxonia Moonphase and the Grand Lange 1 Moonphase Lumen.

We were very fortunate to be hosted by Mr Wilhelm Schmid who flew here for the event.

Here are some pics of the watches I snapped at the event.



The new Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon. A beautiful grand complication.



A poster of the beautiful movement - certainly a grail watch for me.



The Saxonia Moonphase. I love this watch a lot especially the dial. The Moonphase coupled with the large date is a very smart design.



In white gold. Somehow I prefer the warmth of the pink gold version for Moonphase watches



A very popular piece today - the Grand Lange 1 Moonphase Lumen limited to 100 pieces. I am less a fan of the Lumen but this watch sure stole the hearts of many today!



On my wrist - I can see this being a talking piece



Richard Lange Jumping Seconds on a fellow Purist's wrist

The event was held at the Corner House, a favorite place for Lange events in Singapore the past 2 years. I had attended a few Lange events at this place now. It is located in the Singapore Botanical Gardens and the food served is always fantastic! We had a cocktail reception before food and as usual it was great gathering with fellow Lange collectors.

Some pictures of the wonderful meal we had. I was very fortunate to be seated next to Mr Schmid as well as Alexis (whom I just met 3 days ago at the JLC dinner!). Alexis is transferring from JLC to Lange as their new international director.

Hmm I still find this very nice. Saxonia boutique edition 37mm - white gold slate dial. Perfect black tie watch which can also be dressed down.
