Interesting observations Moe, thank you!

The Saxonia thin is a special watch (I will show you mine one day if you show me yours! smile) and I actually like the 1815 up and down except for the fact that it takes more than 150 turns to wind the watch. I owned one before and suffered - and believe me you do when this becomes a routine. Today at my AD I decided to play with the 1815 up and down again and give it another chance - 50 turns and it had not even reached 24 hours on the power reserve indicator! When I meet the Lange experts at the SIHH next month, I aim to ask them to explain to me how come the single barrel in the Saxonia thin is fully wound in 50 turns whereas the single barrel in the 1815 up and down is fully wound only after more than 150 turns as both have a similar 72 hour power reserve. Surely technology has not moved on so much in 4 or 5 years?!
I too much prefer the Lange rose gold to the white gold even though I admit the black dial on the Lange 1 moonphase brings out the best of the blue sky disc.
Personally, I see minor compromises (ok, very minor) in both the moonphase watches whereas the Saxonia thin is near perfect (and I am not even comparing them price wise).
