Difficult choices!
First of all, the best looking one is the Saxonia thin for sure. I have no idea why that watch makes my heart beat so fast! I don’t get the same feeling looking at any other watch - the 1815 Up Down comes second lol
However, if you’re looking for something extremely cool and unique I’d go with the L1 Moonphase. I agree with Alkiro that the black dial makes that sky disc pop! Truly does. However, I’m not a fan of white gold and I find the Day portion of the sky disc to not look as good on the silver dial as it does on the black. This is honestly the reason why I haven’t ordered one yet.

but when I do try on a watch for size, I actually take a more objective view personally and look at how the case and lugs sit on my wrist rather than being too affected by what goes on in the dial as that would give a misconception that the dial is smalle...

The majority of watches these days are 39mm and larger which can be terribly frustrating for us smaller wristed folk. I am so grateful to Lange for reducing the sizes of its Saxonia range which to me is great hindsight on their part. They are smart enough...

will fit you perfectly. And if that is still too large for you, you could try the many 33mm Breguets from the 1990s. I believe you can still find a brand new unworn 5907s! And you are right, it is actually a blessing that more watches cannot fit our wrist...

Too many people overlook the 5119 but it is a lovely classic watch even though one might argue that the movement is too small for its case. It is however, a very good and proven movement. Which one will you get? Would you not consider a 5116R?

I have a WG Saxonia 35mm, as such for a contrast I decided to go with the yellow gold Calatrava. As for why I ruled out the 5116R, rose gold is my least favorite gold and while I do like the enamel dial the extra cost was not worth it.

as it is very difficult to tell the 5116 and 5119 dials apart unless you put them side by side and have a good eye. The 5119J is a classic and a great Patek in its own right.
The trouble with Lange
Is that with them I am spoiled for choice, but I don’t have the bank account to match.

It fits my wrist better than the 38.5mm Lange 1 moonphase although it may not necessarily be a more attractive watch than the Lange 1 moonphase. But you know me Sake, it has to suit my wrist first and foremost!!

That seems to be the majority vote at the moment! No one has pointed this out yet but it is interesting to note that the hands on this watch are luminous which would be useful in the dark
