Happy New Year HS
Jan 07, 2023,14:55 PM
I really like you beautiful green Reverso - and the Casa Fagliano straps really suit the model. I’m curious - how do you find the fit? I always seem to struggle with JLC strap sizes. My Duometre Chronographe shipped with a 120/80 which for my 17.2cm wrist was unwearable. I had ABP Concept and Camille Fournet both make me 115/70s which center the deployant. I’ve recently acquired the Tribute Calendar model (in steel) which shipped with two Fagliano straps - both 120/75. I can make it work but the deployant is a little two far left of center for my liking and the long side a little too long.

By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-14:03
Hello dear friends, We are now live for our first theme of the year at WristScan ! Our theme is a relatively simple one and all about the watches that you chose to enjoy this week and for the coming weekend. It will interesting to see if the new year spur...
Let’s get started ! …
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-14:19
Hello dear friends ! After last year, it’s good to start the year with fresh hope, enthusiasm for life and a little horological pleasure for us all 😉 I started the week with a watch that always gives pleasure in a subtle and discrete sense, but with class...

Good afternoon Captain
By: Timeout : January 6th, 2023-14:58
Many thanks for hosting this first WristScan of 2023. I started the New Year with a bang - the DB25 Starry Varius GMT I then switched to the JLC Duometre Chronographe for return to the office. Followed by the Moser Streamliner Perpetual And today the JLC ...
Starting the year in considerable style !
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-15:46
Wow, I absolutely love the design details in your beautiful DB25 Starry Varius GMT. I can remember that days when DB started out making exceptional watches and have admired their work ever since.
Many thanks Captain
By: Timeout : January 7th, 2023-02:37
The DB25 range really captured my attention and the GMT version of the Starry Varius ticked all the boxes for me. The color of the blued titanium is unique - unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. The attention to detail is exceptional - I particularly like...
Many thanks HS
By: Timeout : January 7th, 2023-15:36
I’m really enjoying watching DB as they evolve, and also start producing some smaller watches in the DB25 line - the new 40mm Perpetual in particular. It’s good to see the independent sector of the market so vibrant these days!
Hello Timeout!! What a wonderful start of year 2023 !!
By: Subexplorer : January 6th, 2023-23:07
The DB is awesome! Your stunning shots leave me speechless! Wow! Same with that wonderful JLC Duometre. Wow again!! Not to mention your Moser and Reverso to complete your awesome choices. Great shots to share them with us. Have a great New Year 2023! Best...
Many thanks Abel!

I’ve recently traded up to an iPhone 13 Pro Max and enjoying the built in camera. For an old timer like me who remembers “developer and fixer” the technology in todays smartphones is staggering and the results amazing. Having said that, it always helps to...
A fantastic, eclectic selection, dear Timeout!
By: MTR : January 8th, 2023-13:33
I especially like your DB25 and the fantastic pics you made of it. Your JLC Grande GMT 8 days awakens nostalgic feelings in me. I owned this gem. And was stupid enough to sell it to fund another watch. Cheers Thomas ...

Good afternoon Captain.
By: KURT_DAVID : January 6th, 2023-17:08
Repetition is unavoidable with a modest collection but I find myself reaching for and enjoying the Bronzo more and more. It’s also far more photogenic than the owner. 😉 Have a cracking weekend. Cheers 🍻 Kurt ...

Happy New Year Spangles…
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-16:21
This superb watch has my attention and certainly has my attention this weekend. The short lugs make such a difference on the wrist. Hope you can post a few more photos of it this weekend.
Thanks …
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 7th, 2023-11:26
I really like your dial choice 😉
I think for me it will be two new entries.
By: KCLQMULKU : January 6th, 2023-14:58
The first I just think it looks so cool and really enjoy wearing it, while the second I only just bought this week! 😆 I finally used my real camera on the first but just the humble iPhone on the second. ...
Congratulations on getting the Explorer 👏👏👏
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-16:24
You just cant go wrong with one of these in your collection. The IWC with tje green design details and matching strap looks incredible. How long have you had this one ?
A long time coming and thank you!
By: KCLQMULKU : January 6th, 2023-17:40
When I first saw this IWC I just fell in love with the colour, the titanium case, movement, and strap (and had also been a big F1 fan back during the Schumacher/Hill era). Immediately contacted IWC to be put on the wait list back in late August, and by mi...
It looks very cool …
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-17:45

Wow!

I remember when McLaren dominated from the Australian grand prix onwards to a point when it got a little ridiculous. It was amazing, I think that was 1997-8? I was always rooting for Damon as a fellow Brit and could not believe he switched to Jordan (noth...
Williams were a strong team at the time
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-19:36
Patrick Head always said that Damon wanted a significant increase in his contractual salary and this played a part in his shock departure.
Ferrari were so good …
By: Cpt Scarlet : January 6th, 2023-19:49
They practically broke the sport. They were the dream team.
Thank you!
By: KCLQMULKU : January 6th, 2023-19:45
Something fun and something cool. 😉
Thank you so much Abel!
By: KCLQMULKU : January 8th, 2023-12:24
I quite enjoy the history, elegance, simplicity, and understated look of this watch. I did try for the current version but remains impossible with any AD so had to settle for the 114270, which I was very lucky to find with all original paperwork, etc, and...
