Not sure, if a bug at all.. Re: APP photo upload in new version.. When text has been entered before, then imgs upload will delete it & only leave the Image marker n (?!)
Previously, one nicely could enter text, then place cursor, then upload pic, would
land at right spot (prev cursor position). This was great, as one could upload 1 or several pics, and one could upload & place them in one step.
Maybe I did something wrong, but to me that's present since last version.

FIXED: Aborting an image upload causes crash
Hitting the back button whilst an upload is in progress works - but it fails to load the image on the next try.

What are you doing to make it crash? I think the white text is the selection colour - I can change that to match the other. More worrying is the crash though.

When I look at mine I see the same threads over and over showing up. I assume it is supposed to be showing me the five responses to my thread but it is rather confusing seeing the same thread over and over. I will look and see where I land when I click on...

To show the most recent child responses to your posts. It will now also scroll through historic posts. I think this works way better. See what you think. You\'ll need the latest build. Cool thing is I\'m replying to this post using my responses button.

Are we going to have a choice to pull down the water fall to refresh and if we hold it the search field appears.
This is a difficult ui issue
It will just look and feel weird to the user Having two search boxes on the one screen with no obvious distinction.. If we really need to limit it to a forum. It might be better to have it on the action menu.
Fixed: On a communications failure on boot
Messages are good but app ends up in a place where it\'s not obvious as to what is the next step. Can mimic it by taking out the server in the hosts file.
If you are responding to a post choose camera then flip the ipad
When you flip it loose comms or some thing and the the two frames expand. It did not crash I was able to back out but I had a few blank screens and then refreshed a few times. So rotating the device while responding.

When you have a long post it is tedious to click on post that have nothing more to read. I would like to be able to click on those with more. I know which pictures maybe there is an icon or indicators for more to read.
Alerts when you get responses to your threads

Search. Too many for sale post come up when using search
It may give the wrong impression that there are more items for sale than in discussion. We should think how best to isolate the collectors market from the search. At least show an option or something to allow a user to exclude or include collectors market...

The red indicator on the post
Is currently shown by time only. Ie the post was in the last 24hrs or something similar. It really should represent new posts since you last looked at the thread. The same little red dot should also be used for threads and forums for consistencies sake.

It's letting me login with Facebook when the Facebook account has not been set up
Needs to fail. Further it is creating a null user and letting me post. That also needs to fail.

It occurred because Facebook was previously installed for this app. I upgraded iOS and Facebook needed to be logged in again. I didn\'t do that. I have now and cannot replicate the error. If Facebook is switched off the app behaves correctly.

In the iPad you can access the search by pulling down the forum list on the left pane. On the iPhone you would pull down the forum list from the forum menu. The pull down to search is the same as the pull down to search in the mail app.

photo and watchtech should have capitalized first letters in the left side forum listings, so we have a consistent look.

Blue dost are post arrived within the last 24 hrs
A way to show you the post that have come in. If a forum has a blue dot it means there are new posts. The threads are always order most recent first and they have the blue dot on them to show you which ones have new replies. Best Bill

Update on blue dots
The best way to understand the blue dots. It is from all user activity. Blue dots are new posts since you last looked in the forum. Or since you last looked at the top level forum list. It's not related to 24 hrs.

Pictures not showing
When I upload a pic from my photo library, the app shows the data counting up to 100%, pausing, and then disappearing. But no photo ever appears in the post. Same result whether a new post or editing an existing post. —Rick

This failure happens often now.
If you upload pics and text via the smart phone app (iPhone) and try to save it, just fragments of the text (today just one word) are shown and all the photos are lost (not saved). I tried it again via website. And that worked. Best Thomas
We are not able to replicate this.
Are you using the iPhone or IPad app? It may be a communications issue. But would be nice to know for sure.
