Torn on this one...

The dial is my ( surprisingly) main problem...
I do not like the colors... and I love legendary Zenith chronos... something here does not work...
Yet I generally like composition of the dial and even the date at 5... (on Zenith, Blancpain, verrrry few others) it works...
What would I do with the dial....?
Lose the colors to see its unadorned practical (black and white so to speak) design...
I assume future models will be pure white, silver, black, blue, rhodium, who knows, etc...
I don't care of it resembles Rolex Daytona... the movement is SOOO nice... shrug.... every watch has its strengths and weaknesses.
And the truth is , Rolex Daytona is not exactly a shatteringly original design .... but iconic, yes...
This watch--sorry if I am diminishing it... is an phenomenal 6-7 k daily wearer... which is not far off the msrp... truth is.... it will likely be there in the 'worn for 1hr plus' category...
So who can argue with this watch?
Zenith execution is as exquisite and probably exceeds Rolex... but the market is the market... so many brands and models deserve more than they get...
so...not me!
I am all for it, (initially I felt differently) but now especially after overall consideration and the hope to see it without colored ( albeit Zenith DNA) dial...
This watch in the 6K ish category... how do you beat it???!!!
A mindbogglingly nice watch... in this realm...
Pre-owned... madness-level value and desirability!!!
