That this timepiece has created a "buzz" is exactly the right sentiment. I will probably not own one but it has enough appeal of its own to generate its distinct following (albeit never to the magnitude of the Daytona's legion of devotees). IMHO, the design stands very much on its own two feet simply because it's, well, the hero and storied chronograph movement which survived in extremis the quartz crisis. Chapeau, Zenith. Monsieur Biver must be pleased to see the middle child thrive and have a personality of its own!

A friend of mine just got the black dial version, and he's coming over to my flat this weekend. I am quite looking forward to handle it. This model, and the new Speedmaster, are the two most interesting watches of the first trimester of 2021.
