Yep agree on most points, I have to say I am pretty disappointed with it though. I have always been a Zenith fan and have a few, all good. Was extremely excited by this release and ordered immediately. When the watch turned up, yep love the dial, the movement, but overall it feels cheap, its like being built down to a cost, very disappointing. The gaps on the links, the feel of the bracelet is so poor, no Micro adjustment, the bracelet is not befitting at all. The pushers don't feel good , again feel a bit cheap...don't like seeing slot screw heads on the back of the case either..so overall this one is a big disappointment, as I say it gives me very much the impression it was built to a cost & maximise profit at the expense of a real quality tactile feel such a watch deserves.
Made a lot worse for me as well by the fact I have just purchased a Grand Seiko 600m divers, ok slightly more than the Zenith but it is a ltd edition. The quality and design on the Seiko, the fit in finish is just sublime in comparison to the Zenith, totally different league, and likewise just before the Zenith turned up I was wearing a Daytona as a daily, again having being use to the feel/heft/quality of that the Zenith was found sadly lacking
You can do better Zenith, quality above profit margins please
