I love it and a lot of us do but it might be too special for Joe Sixpack
It does look more retro
That is imo the problem with the CP2, loved among vintage lovers and purists but not the kind of watch that the average man in the street would buy
And I might be wrong but imo the de luca has the looks to seduce many customers. I believe it's easier to sell a de luca than a CP2
Just ask 100 people what they would prefer... and not only watch enthusiasts like us but the guys that buy a TAG, carrier, rolex, breitling, IWC just because they like it.
I agree a brand needs to be profitable but LVMH does have deep pockets and they do believe in Zenith, so does Mr Biver
I would take the bet and go for it.
Don't make 3000 pieces asap but start slowly and deliver what the market can absorb
