This is a very nice idea and topic, dear Nico!

My oldest love affair, one of my grails until today, a dream, which has come true: IWC Minute Repeater in Platinum.

My first love: the IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar 3750. this was my first high end watch. I let it go 2009 to trade for my Patek 5146G. Why? I couldn’t read the dial which was too small for me. Sometimes I regret it a little bit.

My Reverso Grande Date GMT 8 days in RG. It felt like a golden brick on my wrist and therefore was too loud for me. Sometimes I regret that I have let it go. But I didn’t wear it enough and I know that the new owner gives it the wrist time it deserves.

Still in my collection for more than 15 years and a very good alternative to wearing a Rolex: my Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk II.

And of course my Moser Henry Double Hairspring which is a deep love for many years, too.

Thank you for looking. 😊
Thomas

One that I remember to this day was when I went hunting. Lost track of my dive time as I was too focused on a particular fish... Only realised when my pressure gauge was showing ~500 PSI and I was about 100 meters in depth! That was one lesson learned!!!
