Dear friends, it might come as a relief for some here that my teaser was wrongly giving the idea, that you would need to measure yourself. Since all here is about watches "Watch-Limbo" is asking for the slimmest watch in your collection. For a Purist a tr...
Here's for you two watches I rarely show, which most probably take the cake in my collection when it comes to thinness: First, a very simple Patek 5119R, but one which is very dear to my heart as my first Patek ever (bought in May 2008)! And then this Jae...
I'm still hoping to go back to Italy this summer, finally see parents, family and friends, and also enjoy again a good life there...but the endless restrictions in the UE, the (obvious) delays with the vaccines, and the level of "acceptance" that many peo...
Or should that be limboing down ;-)) Hello dear Count and friends,I’m going to start with these two watches this week... My Habring slips under the (cocktail) bar at around 7mm ... But it’s beaten by the Octo Finissimo at approximately 5.37mm. But ultimat...
Good evening, dear Captain. Great thin watch to have on one's wrist, this excellent watch from the house of Bulgari. Very good to see that Bulgari has made it into serious recently. Putting on weight with a Zenith Pilot is a very good excuse ... Curious ...
... and I hadn´t seen this version before. Stunning. I also love the minimalistic and classic design of Habring watches. The Zenith may not be considered "thin" but it is an awesome watch which you managed to put under your sleeve. Have a nice and enjoyab...
Challenge as I’m a bit over weight and out of training to pass under the low bar but also because my horological preferences are generally focused in tool watches and chronos which usually have thick cases of at least 13 mm or more. Anyway I looked after ...
I have seen your JLC Triple Date in real in a window once and liked it a lot. It is a lovely vintage, complicated watch. Also interesting to see that around 9 mm was the norm back in the days, but with a domed plexi! Thank you for tre inspection of your t...
Agree with you that 9 mm is a surprising thickness considering the present trends to bigger and thicker watches. And that size includes a domed glass!! Also diameter was much contained at around 34/35 mm though there are exceptions of course. The JLC Trip...
A lot! So here are two from my collection that would qualify in terms of overall thinness (under 6mm both)... SCVL002: Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim: And one which is thicker as a watch (curved front and back) but has the thinnest movement in my collec...
The Vacheron is your signature wstch I feel. Such a distinctive and classy design. The two other choices are beautiful too and I’m specially fond of the Montblanc. Good to view these slim pieces! Hagwe dear friend! Abel
and this BP weighs in under 10 mm at the very least...versatile for limbo? Another slim candidate---a VC with a 1003 caliber that's reasonably flat for a dress watch best henry ...
I specially love the Blancpain. Of course the Vacheron is very classy and really thin and an ideal timepiece for a formal dress occasion. Thank you so much for sharing them! Hagwe! Abel
and a lot of great choices here -- I love the vintage dress pieces. Funny thing, tonight my wife is taking me out for the first time in over a year and it is to celebrate my birthday. I was already thinking about strapping on my JLC Master Ultra Thin and ...
... celebrate it with your wife. Your JLC UT is a great choice for this occasion. Hope you’ll enjoy your dinner so much and you’ll take a picture of your watch to share with us. Best wishes and cordial regards Abel

3.65mm thin Beaten by the new Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept at 2mm thin of course. A side profile. Some of my other thin watches are the JLC MUT perpetual and Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Ultra Thin (powered by Piaget's 430P movement) And some pics of t...
A modern watch in best traditional fashion with a super-extra flat movement. Very nice in rose gold! Your JLC is also a very clever entry: slim perpetual. All top entries, my friend!
It is incredibly thin indeed. A true horological marvel. You show it with two other beautiful watches. I’m specially fond of the JLC MUT Perpetual which I have in my wish list. Guess we have some winning shots here! Hagwe! Abel
You are right, the specs I have show the Cartier at 5.1mm and the Octo at 5.15. For all that extra height you do get an extra hand and an automatic movement. I will say the Tank Louis feels thinner on my wrist, in good part due to the strap versus the ama...
... character. I also love the classic and timeless design of the Tank Louis. Agree with you that they offer quite different experiences wearing them. Enjoy these wonderful watches so much! Cheers! Abel
But he traded it off last year. I think it was the blue version. He used to be a frequent member of this forum 8-10 years ago. They don’t make watches like these anymore...it’s so bold, so different.
. . . that probably didn't fit when bought in '78. Slimmest in my collection? Likely the Genève. Manual wind cal 602 movement affords a slim profile. Art ...
. . . than me! 😅 Here's a wrist shot of Genie . . . . . . especially for you, Abel. A tiny Omega that packs a punch, with a chronometer movement ticking inside . . . ...
Good theme this week, most of my watches are not in the thin category, had to really think before I remembered this one in the lurking safe. Cheers, Tim
Like that nickname, which is absolutely fitting for this formidable watch. Is this my favourite modern slim watch in this competition 🤔? Very well played, mazizata.
