First, congratulations to everyone, I had great pleasure browsing our members’ pictures, with many vintage pieces I liked a lot. This was a really tough decision to make and I ended with far too much contenders in my final selection.
As I wished to narrow the results to 3, here are my final choices.
- 3rd position goes to… 2 ex-aequo! (yes, that’s a way to keep 4 watches for 3 places :p )
An impressive light-absorbing Doxa dial shared by Caius where I loved the crème and black combination.
A really cool watch and unexpected interpretation of the theme (with the help of an increased contrast).
And Subexplorer’s RO as I always loved the RO’s former white dial. It catches light perfectly, I love that hue.
- 2nd position for CH9698’s Comex: a man’s watch with a strong historical background and a backlighting effect which is a different way to play with light during dusk time.
- And the winner is…. Ninonapolitano’s Lange. I couldn’t choose otherwise as the way light plays with the surroundings makes the colors unbelievable. So much charm and magic in that picture. Add the constellation on the dial and the picture is complete.
Thanks for participating and have a nice week!
Cheers, Mark
