. . . and was one of the first, if not the first, functional diving watches ever made, starting in 1932. Several years later Omega created a waterproof line with the same name. Collectors differentiate between them by attaching 'II' to the second series of references (3635/3637/3683). I don't believe Omega referred to these waterproof designs as 'Marine II'.
