That is an excellent question

Hi Art,

An excellent question which I cannot answer for sure. I think the Cooper Streamliner that did make it to Bonneville was built by Bill Burke and was powered by a Harley Davidson motor. My father's streamliner was power by a 250cc Norton for the Monza records, and then a JAP engine for the records at Montlhery. After that, there are reports the car was sold to Canada where it went on through a number of engine transformations (Porsche/Coventry-Climax), and went on racing until 1968.

Thanks for the comments. Still learning about my father's racing exploits, since he rarely talked about these things when he was alive.
