I would love to navigate (or at least visit) the ship. Can you imagine the shots we could take there? May be I will be lucky some day.
The traditional hard hat diving helmet is now a symbol of diving and I love it. (By the way I own a Siebe & Gorman example) I´m happy that Bulova choose a helmet for this watch. This is in raised relief in this Limited edition I show here and it is etched in the standard edition.
I share your thoughts about the Technos. Those vintage diving watches like this one, or the Certina DS turtle or the Captain Cook display casebacks so charming and whimsical and a reminder of early days of scuba diving.

Definitely can see the similarities here. The oversized balance wheel and other pocket watch features are the common denominator. Nice to see that the Vingt-8 movement has a natural escapement too.

I equally like and enjoy closed case back watches too. Not only can it add that added art to a timepiece, but also provides an enjoyable mystique (sometimes showing less means more 😉).

Dear Abel, love the theme this weekend. It might be not the most complicated, but one of my favourite backside is any Panerai with the P 3000 movement! There is just some thing about seeing a manual movement in a 47 mm case that I find appealing.
