I thought so very different about the salt...
being really in wintertime in Germany, Andrew! My association was the salt dispensed on the roads to keep them free!
And you show me beach pics, that really got me!
So I´m sending some photos from the snowy Bavaria and my cross-coutry skiing trips, wearing my newest aquisition, the Sinn 657, which came in exchange for the 656:

Very nice Sinn. They produce some of the most legible and functional watches out there. It's been a fairly mild summer so far down here. Hope you manage to stay warm. And pass the salt. A

The direct sunlight caught the gray granularity of the dial. It was nice to have the Submariner at the beach. Next I will have to try diving with it (after a pressure test I think). Andrew

After a long while
Came back two weeks ago from servicing and calibration. It is keeping excellent time now, adding just 1 minute after a whole 10 days when it was adding 5 minutes a week before. Happy weekend all! Richard...
