Came back two weeks ago from servicing and calibration. It is keeping excellent time now, adding just 1 minute after a whole 10 days when it was adding 5 minutes a week before.
Happy weekend all!
I finally received my last purchase of 2009, that came out of customs yesterday! A Spedmaster ST145.022 from 1968. The best vintage year around here...! I believe it will be a GREAT weekend taking time on eggs, footy, driving etc Have a nice weekend to al...
being really in wintertime in Germany, Andrew! My association was the salt dispensed on the roads to keep them free! And you show me beach pics, that really got me! So I´m sending some photos from the snowy Bavaria and my cross-coutry skiing trips, wearin...
Very nice Sinn. They produce some of the most legible and functional watches out there. It's been a fairly mild summer so far down here. Hope you manage to stay warm. And pass the salt. A
. . . and man, was the competition tough this time! I loved Patrice's photo (very subtle guy, that Patrice!), and Livius's ethereal pic of his Breitling was outstanding, but your working-watch photo takes the cake ;-) . . . cordially, Art
Another good Masthead choice. It's a fun but difficult task choosing the best shot of the week. I wonder if there is a simple way to get everyone involved in voting for their favourite photo of the week to be used as the Masthead? Another way to get Puris...
... climbing around these sandstone cliffs. Managed to survive and not break anything! Happy memories. Let us know if you ever get back down here. Regards Andrew
The direct sunlight caught the gray granularity of the dial. It was nice to have the Submariner at the beach. Next I will have to try diving with it (after a pressure test I think). Andrew

well your pretty much on the button Hans, a low beat would be 18000bph or perhaps 19600 in a chronometer and a true hi beat is 36000bph although a lot of companies used to call 28800 a hi beat. Ginger is the queen of the Hi Beat, thats pretty much all she...
Hi Graham That ticking away must be like music in your ears... I believe the fastest I have is 28800 A/h or 4Hz on several watches. But would actually love a Zenith El Primero calibre. Plus must be precision and on a chronograph the resolution. minus must...
Seeing them more and more on this forum, and this one is very nice. Something about the older ones that stands out, and this is definitely one of them. Richard
nicer an older variant, (but not a 1968), but at least it seems like your Mercedes.Benz is newer than my Ford V6.. Ehem Cheers and have a good weekend Hans P.S. I will change the bezel on my Speedie. But damn its a nice watch to wear. Will not be my last....
The culmination of a long hunt - or at least a long yearning - is it not? Heartfelt congratulations - enjoy (as if you need to be told....). Cheers, pplater.
... to catch our eye, isn't there? Your HM2 is still an amazing and unique piece of design. There is also something special about having one of the first pieces. Andrew
But i see you're from Denmark, so i guess traffic won't be a bitch like it is over here ... i must admit i find you Denmarks a bit agressive driving your cars .. especially in Denmark .. Cheers from the agressive Bim
... As I am getting older and the reflexes are getting slower.. Have done faster in a Ferrari and a Porche..but whouz..I am getting old. The times when I drove from Denmak to Frankfurt or München at night with an average speed of +200km/h are probably ove...

... to check the GP Forum more frequently. Of course, your photo demonstrates what the annual calendar is missing - that wonderful blued second hand. A nice watch. I would like to see it without the date window, but a nice watch none-the-less. A

...and had jury duty for two weeks!!! Review goes up this weekend -- I promise, or may the powers that be delay the release date of Bond 23 for another year (Please, noooo!). I am missing the GP still... ...but consoling myself with my (and Filip's) favor...
Ah Daos, Jury duty is a horrible experience, or so i've heard. the old system of having '12 good men and true' is getting harder and harder these days. no one with criminal convictions allowed which as you can imagine in somewhere like Liverpool or Manche...
Where you allowed to bring your laptop (with WIFI) and a camera? Why do they bother people with all these nonsense ? Let the lawyers and judges fight it out. The one with the nicest watch wins .......... errrrrrrrrr... wait a minute ...... now i know why ...
