Hmmhh.. Let me see what I might chip in to contribute as a farewell to him & to so many friends..
As I didn‘t know our Capt‘n equally well as many here, and especially you dear Abel,
all there remains for Humble Me is sharing some few of my shots, which our dear Capt‘n had the kindness
to comment on or issue a comparative remark, always friendly, always warm and with compassion.
Yes, a true gentleman, a kind watch collector and connoisseur with style, I will always remember,
- This also helped me on a personal level, if I am free to comment upon, after a severe illness
some 8-9 yrs ago to again feel so much welcome here among you all, my cyber friends, whereby
I had the pleasure to meet some of you in person, unfortunately so, never the Capt‘n himself..
Thus, here these few shots and I‘ll tip my Beret in salute to you, dear Capt‘n - to wherever
you are now with my warmest thoughts also to your family & friends..

My special salute to you, dear Capt’n with one of my very dear shots, Breguet Type XX,
which you so kindly commented..
