Hello dear Larry! Ha ha ha!! Thank you so much for sharing that anecdote. The Captain had a very fine sense of humour and he usually surprised us with his witty remarks and answers.
It was truly a pleasure to chat with him.
You and every participant of this thread are building this homage to our dear departed friend. In spite of our sadness, we try to remind him with same joy he instilled in us through our fond memories.
You share here several wonderful shots and watches he would love. I´m specially fond of your colorful OP, and that stunning triplet of beauties reunited in one shot. Agree he enjoyed so much shots with watches and the Porsche logo.
I´m sure the Captain is in a peaceful place and hopefully thinking in his beloved ones and also remembering us, his friends.
