Hello dear KM!! Here my pilot’s watches to answer your cool Theme…
As I wrote previously you set the bar so high with the watches shared in your thread opening.
I specially love your vintage Minerva and the charming Gagarin Astronaut watch. And of course the WPS Zenith as well.
I would like so much to add this Russian watch to my collection but I’m a bit confused about which would be the closest to the original watch worn by Gagarin among all the different variants, dial colors and case sizes of modern offerings.
Probably you can help with suggesting the best modern repro of the original.
I’m also intrigued about the aircraft in your first stunning shot.
Well here my choices…

IWC Big Pilot bronze case

Modern GMT Pepsi keeping the heritage

Ref 6542 the start of the connection between Rolex and Pan Am

Big Pilot bronzo wrist shots

If the Speedy is a superb Astronaut’s watch it can also be a great pilot’s watch I feel. Here ready to go with a Pitts behind…

The 6542 looks good with an old bird …

IWC Mk XVIII

Looks like Snoppy loves Speedys and Big Pilots as well!!

IWC tribute to Model of 1936 Limited edition.

My beloved Breguet Type XX…
Have a nice weekend dear KM and all friends here!
