And the 2020 aspiration: A funky Chronostop Driver! Plenty of dial colour options - blue, maroon, charcoal and also white & green. Look great with original mesh bracelet, but equally nice with rallye strap or nato. And a blue dial is preferred - worn unde...

It is a limited edition and seems to be all sold out. I had to put down the money for mine two months ago and then wait for a May delivery.

On the Left, I finished 2019 with this Timor in a 40mm EPSA Super Compressor case, produced in 1968. On the Right is the SBGH269 Grand Seiko first released only a few months back. I love them both for very different reasons which I sure is evident to anyo...  

... and compressor case is de delight of any diving watches lover (like me! ) . The GS... Wow! What a dial!! Grand Seiko knows how to make these awesome dials which leave us speechless when contemplating them. Look at that red and textture on this dial he... 

It is a rare bird in these woods! On the GS I need to see the watch in the metal.. the red is so radiant. Good choice!

These two are very different watches but I completely agree with your choice.

. . . were both vintage Omegas. No surprise there! A ref 3635 Marine, ca '42 . . . . . . powered by a T17 movement, and what I believe is a '42 ref 2214 . . . . . . fitted with a copper plated 30T2 movement. I've got a request in for an extract on this on...  

Your superb run of hunting the coolest OMEGA vintage watches, continues! Whatever the extracts says... the 2214 is a superb catch!

Knowing the McGonigles personally and understanding why they created this watch, is to me highly compelling. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and when it comes to micro-mechanical art such as high this, knowledge of the creators and their “why” makes...

... and crown are gold and it came with the original Jubilee bracelet in steel and gold. It is reference 16013 from 1986. A search in Internet and IG showed just a few examples with black, blue and light ivory color. So I presume the dial was original lig...
