... its dial and which you rightfully describe as domed and bottomless is really fascinating. I would include the shape of its bezel as part of its stunning carácter. Awesome background decoration by your daughter!! Adds a fantastic backdrop to your shots...  

I love the 1088! 24h GMT is a terrific complication. Glad you like the straps! The tan “74 series” and the blue straps are by Gunny Straps Official. The Flottiglia Mas Xa painted strap is by Aaron Bespoke.

Started with my Breitling 1959 Navitimer I swapped out the black calf strap that came with the watch for this minimal stitched Maya Calf strap from Genteel Handmade. Later in the week I moved on to my JLC Duometre Chronograph. The strap is Caramel calfski...  

Any of them can make me a happy man, but I am specially fond of your magnificent JLC Duometre. What a sublime timepice!! Great choice for today. I also own a 15202 but with a white dial. A superb modern classic I feel. Keep enjoying these watches so much....

Your Breitling 1959 Navitimer looks very good.

This 1959 is the only Breitling I own. I really liked the back story to its reissue a couple of years ago and the way that Breitling is going to it’s back catalogue in a thoughtful way.

This Breitling Premier has been with me the past week. From the 1940's, 36mm in rose gold and a gold dial. Other than a few dings on the case, amazing original condition. Have a good weekend! ...

I was chasing a fatlady 😍but someone told her hand 🤬. It is fine, the Breitling and a Gruen fell in my lap this time😜. Not complaining, will continue my pursuit for my fatlady!😂

One thing about vintage chronographs I also thoroughly enjoy is the better match between movement and case sizes. My Minerva 13-20, even if much newer would be of a similar vein. ...  

And the stingray strap goes well with the color of the dial and your shirt 🥂. Agreed with you on the case size, the thickness too, dress shirt friendly proportion.

That Porthole Futurematic is future-matic even today - love that! And it seems world times were strong this week, summer holiday planning in progress? 😊

And indeed, this E 502 Porthole is a somewhat eclectic piece, but with lots of cool charm, IMHO. Guess, needs even a bit more wrist-time, maybe.. . As per the summer vacations, it’s still some weeks, until our yearly Southern country-part will be enjoyed....

There are many many options, and there's the option of getting a spare dial as well to swap (something I seriously considered)

And for those considering or awaiting the Laine V38, you will not regret it at all! The watch is a joy to wear - fits well on the wrist, and is a visual pleasure from front and back, and excellent value. Plus Torsti is a very nice chap to work with.

I just stuck to the Explorer while driving and walking around Mackinac Island and some more of Michigan. That’s quite a weekly rotation you’ve got there, Sir! Enjoy!
