Definitely can see the similarities here. The oversized balance wheel and other pocket watch features are the common denominator. Nice to see that the Vingt-8 movement has a natural escapement too.

I´m also very fond of the P3000/3001 Panerai movements which though minimalistic in design are very beautiful and of course reliable and accurate. I own several Pam models which use this movement. The 3001 in particular is very interesting for its reserve...
