accent grave or not
Jan 21, 2019,10:27 AM
In my opinion, the 'accent grave' should not miss on the original factory dials.
Therefore I think the dial has, at least, been cleaned.
This watches often appear to got moisture intrusion, what often calls for a refinish afterwards...thince customers prefer clean stuff.
And the accent grave is not the only aspect for authentification.
Think about hands, case, movement, buckle etc... - This ref appears in offers from fake watch dealers, a deeper check does make sens.
This watch should be (if its fully authentic) a ref 2014A, probably with an cal K1014 movement, produced in the early to mid 1970's.
The case looks polished, what's probably not original, it should be brushed - satinised in VI - XII direction.
If you crosscheck prints from other refs, you would also recognise a difference in the font and font size.
Using a magnifying glass, you would see a quite fine and delicate imprint of the name, made with a shiny black lacquer.
