Yum... My stomach is growling,
Seriously! I'm going to raid the kitchen. I hope there's something good to go with my chicken from poker last night. Of 44 players, I took ninth place winning points toward playing for one of the three seats given away this year for the 2016 World Poker Tour in Las Vegas. At the end of this month, the top 50 of 200+ players vie for the second WPT seat.

We had people who drove up to the event and luckily It's a long holiday weekend so traffic was not bad. The weather has cooled down quite a bit so it was great timing. You'll have to visit us in L.A. for a GTG Alex! -MW

One of our favorite pubs in the French Quarter back in the later 1980s was Ryan 700 Irish Pub. After closing up shop on Bourbon Street, we would go next door to Ryans; the place was always packed. Sounds like you had a great time. Helen

But of course, you have to stay anonymous till the game's over, or until I'm out, so I don't lose my edge. Can you imagine, some of these tournaments are so big that if you place within last standing 1000 you win several thousand dollars? lol... How's And...

Big tip... Be careful, you could loose your shorts there.
Andy, Those slot machines are fun but also addictive. If you can find a medium size Texas HoldEm Tournament, buy into that. It's a one time fee, takes skill, keeps you busy and away from the slot machines. lol... Also don't forget all the great shows in L...
