It was indeed a superb trip....
and I can safely say I didn't go hungry....ha ha
The Socal guys kept me informed of where to go and took me to some incredible places which the standard tourist would never have found.
I'm def not a big gambler because I'm a scientist by profession with an interest for statistics so I know the house always wins....however for some fun I did enjoy giving the casinos my money 
I was however very tempted with Blackjack as the only game where the house has no more advantage than you as they have to follow the rule on the table so I will study that some more before next time in Vegas, maybe next year.

We had people who drove up to the event and luckily It's a long holiday weekend so traffic was not bad. The weather has cooled down quite a bit so it was great timing. You'll have to visit us in L.A. for a GTG Alex! -MW

One of our favorite pubs in the French Quarter back in the later 1980s was Ryan 700 Irish Pub. After closing up shop on Bourbon Street, we would go next door to Ryans; the place was always packed. Sounds like you had a great time. Helen

Big tip... Be careful, you could loose your shorts there.
Andy, Those slot machines are fun but also addictive. If you can find a medium size Texas HoldEm Tournament, buy into that. It's a one time fee, takes skill, keeps you busy and away from the slot machines. lol... Also don't forget all the great shows in L...
