All the homes after the nice Craftsman style home are fantastic and beautiful. Unfortunately, probably unaffordable for me, as they look very expensive to acquire and maintain. Plus, imagine the property taxes! Some of these homes probably have more than ... 

I saw this across the street, took a picture, and then pulled the sale flier. OK, it's too much house for most people and way too much money likewise, but you get ocean view, 4200 sq ft, asking $3M (property tax ~ $25k/yr). Others are more reasonable. ...

All the modern cars are attainable. Save a Pagani or Bugatti. But the $30M homes were more interesting than the cars.

I like the homes and the modern ones are the ones I would go for. Unfortunately the multi-million dollar price tags only allow me to look at your photos.

You could always come out and live in a tent Forget I mentioned that.

Our good friends parents live on the water in Coronado, they have a beautiful city view with a grandfathered dock. Seems like it would be a wonderful place to wake up every morning and have a nice cup of coffee watching the boats go by.

This was the view from my mother's place in Coronado. Sorry for the washed-out sky but you could see the bay, boats and downtown San Diego. We rented it for her but gave it up when she moved to assisted living. ...  

that is the style I find so enchanting in California, and now I know its name. But the modern, eclectic styles also translate to CA in my mind. In all cases, I’m fascinated by how you’re able to associate certain styles with a given era. You wonder how a ...
