that is the style I find so enchanting in California, and now I know its name.  But the modern, eclectic styles also translate to CA in my mind.  In all cases, I’m fascinated by how you’re able to associate certain styles with a given era.  You wonder how a given city or neighborhood will look in 100 years…although my understanding is that CA has many protective/limiting building development rules, so this must help preserve certain areas to some extent.
