New home...
Yesterday we arrived to our new home. As can be seen in the first shot, it’s winter. As there will be every year from now on - and not just an alibi one but real, with constant minus temperatures and snow ❄️ 
And also time to unveil the destination. We will surely miss Vienna, which most people who have lived there will understand yet we are also hugely excited about the new adventure.
And there’s a beef tartare serving pub across the street from the flat, so I believe this is a beginning of a wonderful friendship 😉

I am sure it will be a pleasant and memorable experience for the whole family. Also, as you will soon find out if you haven't yet, Moscow is among the best places in the world for a watch collector. Enjoy!

I am born in Vienna, i lived my first 18 years in Vienna, i am a "echter WIENER", but i never missed Vienna. What a boring city, living mental 100 years ago.
But may be you are right, Mockba is not really better. However, i wish you a nice time in Russia!
Too fresh to know about Moscow...
As for Vienna, I can understand it partially. We have tried several cities and countries (UK, Switzerland, Germany, etc.) and found Vienna to be the best overall package so far - but maybe the arrival of kids also changed our perspective somewhat... Hopin...

I cannot imagine going to live back in my home town either. 18 years like you, then left, then attempted a short stint again and left for good. I don’t mind visiting but living, no.

For the kids it’s a grand adventure already. The roaming and exploring of the flat, the snow outside, the excitement... for us it’s a bit more to sort right now but we came for a while, so that period will be a short one in comparison 😊 I can tell you tha...
