This is definitely a good point, in fact for many people the extra T signature doesn't even add any value to the watch.

 

Personally, I don't have any issue with this long-standing partnership, given its really deep historical roots and the importance Tiffany has had since Patek came to America (we are going back to the 1800's here). It's actually an important part of Patek's history, and as such I value it. But I can also understand if someone values a non-T Patek as much as one with the extra signature...I, for one, never looked for a Patek with a T on the dial ;-)
