Dials for the USA market would need underlines and dot. Sometimes they where checked in the USA so you get the double underline .

Also Rolex technicians locally would relume and restore dials ( called repositioning ) they would change the contaminated lume and to reflect that they also put a dot and or underline.

To ilustrate it take the Rolex Sub explorer in which you can see on many the lume style of the Numbers differ .
The thing is they relumed it, luming a dot is one thing But luming a number is another thing it is really difficult.
I learned this all from a former Rolex dial restorer and relumer, he still has all the formulas for the lume mix.
