Well, I am sure you know the story of the Daytona and Cosmograph Miles...

there is a reason why Rolex chose the terms "Cosmograph" st the beginning of this reference and later switched it to the Daytona designation ππ€£π
In addition, I find it funny that they would include the Daytona designation on the SS 6263 and 6265 but not on the equivalent models in gold π€π€·ββοΈ. No idea why so maybe someone could enlighten me π€·ββοΈ
Have a look at my two golf 6263s (1 standard dial and the other is a Sigma dial).
Notice the 4 lines of text and then the Cosmograph designation where the Daytona designation would be π€

obviously Rolex made several dials variants and colors. When it comes to Big Red dials, I prefer them black. For panda dials I prefer it without the Daytona designation as it cleans up the dial a bit. Like this 6265 Sigma panda dial Or even a plain 6240 p...

A Daytona dial without DAYTONA printed on it is all wrong to me. It looks incomplete and unfinished like something is missing. I am pleased you like them though and feel they look clean. Iβve always had a preference for white dial Daytonaβs. M.

The only Daytona that fits my wrist well but unfortunately way over my budget!
