VC Overseas

Hi,

For about six years I have been wearing side-by-side a PP Nautilus, AP Royal Oak and VC Overseas. In many ways I would put these three watches to the very same cathegory. They are all very well made, very accurate and everything in these watches is very detailed. For some reason the *Overseas does not enjoy the same reputation than Royal Oak or Nautilus but in my opinion the Overseas is by no means a lesser watch than the two others.

The bracelet of Overseas is stunning, I like the 150 meters water resistance, the engraving on the back of the watch is very nice and finally, the dial is nicely made and very detailed. However, in real life you will probably pay much less from the basic version of the Overseas than for AP or PP. I once saw the movement of my Overseas and it was finished in a fantastic way - just like any other modern VC. It is really a nice watch and surprisingly slim taking into account that it is also Antimagnetic. In case Blancpain would made their Fifty Fathoms slims like the Overseas (or Submariner), I would have mentioned earlier also BB Fifty Fathoms.

Best, Kari
