It is at this same period Rolex made of of the most amazing chronograph know as the DAYTONA. An icon that needs no further introduction.
From 1966 to 1969, only a few thousands of the ref 6241 daytona was made. Mostly in steel. But a few hundred was made in yellow gold. One in particular has a black dial with the sexy Paul Newman dial. The Italian later call it " JOHN PLAYER SPECIAL" due to it resemblance to the race cars color tone.
To me one of the most desirable time piecs of all time. What do u think?
