I prefer a 4 line, glossy gilt, non-chapter ring. The one Bill posted is an absolute stunner. That is my Sub grail. But all these old subs are complete classics. You cannot go wrong with any of them. Nicolas, Ken, Jeff - Enjoy them all, gentlemen! I hope to join you all as a proud gilty, gloss Sub owner later this year!

5512 glossy chapter ring, two lines,
from 1959 /1960 (PCG as it should be) it is the nicest in my opinion, a perfect combination: classy and simplicity. Kind regrads Fancisco
