Just did a litte Research on the 5513 Maxi dial stuff - minefield for sure
This is really crazy.
I think we should just call these cool matt dials feet first. My head is spinning trying to figure out what is what and then the term Pre-Comex comes into play. So little reliable stuff and I have not seen enough examples to form an opinion as there does not seem to be consensus.
I think I will just stick to calling these matt 5513 dials with with various features feet first up or down.
Rolex is so much fun but boy are there so many opinions. Lets just all get along...

The larger lume plots helps set it off a little from the others. Depth on the top aligned ft makes for a perfect MKI. Good catch. Bill
On the dial Rolex crown question
Is it normal that the rolex crown logo (on the dial) appears that wide? It seems a lot fatter than usual. Thanks

Pretty much all the 5513 are solid workhorse to be in any collectors stable. Chapter ring dials are very special too - gilt and glossy what more can you ask for. Bill
