The Rolex 5513 maxi has a special following just because the dial has a slight variation. The lume plots are larger and they extend all the way to the minute markers. How unique this style is no one knows. For those who follow the maxi cult enjoy. For ref...

The larger lume plots helps set it off a little from the others. Depth on the top aligned ft makes for a perfect MKI. Good catch. Bill

Pretty much all the 5513 are solid workhorse to be in any collectors stable. Chapter ring dials are very special too - gilt and glossy what more can you ask for. Bill

If you look at the 5513 Matt series. There seems to be two maxi dials that are undisputed MKI and MKII. The difference is that the depth and the submariner test is inverted with depth on top being MKI. The large lume plots are a given. These appeared in a...

This is really crazy. I think we should just call these cool matt dials feet first. My head is spinning trying to figure out what is what and then the term Pre-Comex comes into play. So little reliable stuff and I have not seen enough examples to form an ...
