Yesterday, this friend that has a very nice collection of vintage Rolex was complaining about this fact.
He stated, what is the deal to own if we cannot wear?
Since my "visit" I'm refraining to own a single Rolex and I'm staying with pieces that, as we dream, flies "under the radar" (pure delusion).
It's not a coincidence that Lévi-Strauss wrote "Tristes Tropiques" back in 1955.
That's life.
Cheers,
Nilo
