It was charming and affordable enough for me to grab one used... but I just didn't end up loving it, and you are giving the exact reasons why.
The Ranger is the missed opportunity here: why is Tudor still making that watch 39mm? They should have sized it down like the Explorer to 36 or, even better, pushed the envelope in size by offering it in 34mm.

I suppose you mean the one with a Burgundy dial.

I’m glad we feel the same way about the 54.
And I completely agree with you concerning the Ranger: 36 mm would be a perfect size (having a BB36, I would say that going below 36 would probably be a bit small). Best, Emmanuel

I agree about the Ultra, it looks great but I prefer the blue 42mm Pelagos, in particular I like the cut outs from the rehaut which add visual interest. All the best, Jon
