A few weeks ago, I visited a Tudor Boutique and here's what I was able to have a look at. 1/ The PELAGOS ULTRA, ref. M2543C1A7NU-0001 powered by Calibre MT5612-U As surprising as it may seem from someone like me who is very much focused on colored gold dr...  

OK so I get the Pelagos Ultra is a WR of 1000m but the rest are mostly just 200m WR and again most are just simple 3 handers why do they need to be so thick? The only thing I can think of is that Rolex mandate this to stop Tudor from eating their lunch an... 

And maybe thickness is indeed a way to "protect" Rolex... Best, Emmanuel

The more I am looking at different watches, the more thinness is becoming a more important factor.

I look forward to seeing the new 58, especially a black-dial version, if they ever make one!

It was charming and affordable enough for me to grab one used... but I just didn't end up loving it, and you are giving the exact reasons why. The Ranger is the missed opportunity here: why is Tudor still making that watch 39mm? They should have sized it ... 

And I completely agree with you concerning the Ranger: 36 mm would be a perfect size (having a BB36, I would say that going below 36 would probably be a bit small). Best, Emmanuel

I agree about the Ultra, it looks great but I prefer the blue 42mm Pelagos, in particular I like the cut outs from the rehaut which add visual interest. All the best, Jon

The blue 42 mm Pelagos is a very attractive watch, there’s no doubt about that. But, like the Ultra, it’s unfortunately a bit too large for my wrist! Best, Emmanuel

Now I am looking forward to trying the new Pelagos, BB68 and the new BB58 Burgundy. Your photos of the Pelagos models highlight the brushed finish of the titanium very well. I am not so sure of the white BBPro though. Good to see you like the bronze, ther...
